Former Morning Musume member and singer Maki Goto (39) appeared on TBS's "Jinsei Saikyou Restaurant" on the 16th. She surprised the MC Koji Kato and others by revealing the area where she currently lives.

The show introduces restaurants that guests remember as the "best time of their lives." The second restaurant that Goto presented was a monjayaki restaurant in Mizue, Edogawa Ward.

"It's in my hometown, well, Edogawa Ward," he said, and when Kato asked, "Are you still in Edogawa?" he replied, "Yes, it is. 39 years, Edogawa."

Kato was surprised and asked, "Didn't you grow up in Edogawa, make your debut and then go to Ebisu, and then go to Edogawa?" To which he replied, "Not at all. Not at all. I've always commuted from Edogawa Ward," passionately expressing his strong love for Edogawa.

"It's a nice place to live. I know a lot of the old folks in the neighborhood, and there are lots of parks, schools, and sweet shops, so it's good for raising children," she said, revealing her surprising down-to-earth attitude. "I don't want to leave. I've always wanted to live in a detached house, so I built one last year," she said, expressing her determination to stay here forever.

When Kato heard that she was not serving as a tourism ambassador or PR ambassador, he said, "Mayor Edogawa, what are you doing? She live here for so long."
