NBA legend posts "Hats off" to Shohei Ohtani social media, responding with "What a magical Dodger series" and "Is Magic here?"
Magic Johnson, a former NBA superstar and one of the co-owners of the Dodgers, updated his social media on the 20th. He wrote, "Hats off to the head coach Dave Roberts, Shohei Ohtani and Tommy Edman who hit home runs in the 6-3 win over the Cubs!" and posted photos and videos of him and his wife watching the Dodgers-Cubs game on the 19th (Tokyo Dome).
Johnson continued excitedly, "Both Sasaki and Yamamoto returned to their home countries and pitched great against the Cubs. Yamamoto only allowed three hits in Game 1, while Sasaki limited the Cubs to just one hit in Game 2."
Johnson said he and his wife Cookie had "a really fun week in Japan," and that he was "sad that it's coming to an end." His followers commented, "Thank you for coming to Japan," "We had a great time," "What a magical Dodger series," and "What? Magic is here?"
