The CEO of Ado's agency reports that Yurina Hirate, who is reportedly transferring to another agency, is "detained"; although she denies that she has a habit of being late, "it would be troublesome if she canceled at the last minute"
On the 16th, Takuya Chigira, CEO of Cloud9, the talent agency to which singer Ado belongs, updated his X (formerly Twitter). He announced that he was "detained" former Keyakizaka46 actress Yurina Hirate, whose contract with her agency NAECO ended on the 8th. Cloud9 had been reported by some as a possible destination for Hirate.
Chigira posted a photo of Hirate tied up on X. He wrote, "Yurina Hirate I know is always there 10 minutes before our meeting and is a girl who cares for others," but added, "However, I thought about the future and decided to tie her up in case she canceled at the last minute."
He also reported, "She is currently in good health and preparing for her next move, so please wait a little longer," hinting at Hirate's transfer.
Hirate joined Keyakizaka46 as a first-generation member in 2015. She played an active role as the absolute center, but announced her departure in January 2020. She turned to acting. In December 2022, she became the first artist to be signed to NAECO, a label born from HYBE JAPAN, the Japanese headquarters of HYBE, a major Korean agency, but announced the termination of her contract on the 8th. Some reports said that the reason for this was that Hirate had been repeatedly late.
