Actor Kon Omura (93) appeared at the press conference for the documentary film "I am Model" held in Tokyo on the 26th. He revealed the secret to his health.

This is singer-songwriter Teranishi Yuma's debut as a film director, and is a documentary film that follows Teranishi Kazuhiro, who is scheduled to be an official candidate for the House of Councillors election of Party of Do It Yourself for the Promotion of Cinemas. Omura said in his speech, "I'm 93 now. Thankfully, the only comedian to reach his 90s was Morishige Hisaya, who was 92 and I remember him retiring from active duty, but I've beaten him by one year to become 93. The sad thing is that when I press the friends button on my cell phone, no one comes up. They're all over the place," drawing laughter from the audience.

Omura emphasized that he is in perfect health. He said that he trained at the gym five or six years ago and boasted, "I built up muscle and can now stand properly. I used to wear jeans that were one meter wide and my belly was about one meter, but now it's 79 centimeters. I think that building muscle and strengthening my legs is good for my health."

Kazuhiro Teranishi, who stars in the film, also attended the press conference. Omura said, "If you ask me how long I'll live, I'll say I'll live to be 103. I want (Teranishi) to become the Prime Minister in the future, and I'd like to become the Minister of Finance," and he got the crowd excited with his humorous and passionate speech.
